Dr. Michael Compton is a Doctor of Chiropractic that has focused his practice to the treatment of people with neurological, and immune system disorders. Dr. Compton holds a bachelors degree in Human Biology, a Doctorate in Chiropractic, and is Board Eligible in Neurology with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, and Fellowship Eligible in Functional Neurology with the American College of Functional Neurology.

 

Dr. Compton has spent hundreds of hours in post doctoral training with the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies in order to help this patients better. Dr. Compton is certified as a preferred provider to perform neurological rehabilitation with Interactive Metronome.

 

Chiropractic Neurology or Functional Neurology is the newest, state of the art diagnostic and treatment technique. It brings together current research findings from fields such as chiropractic, psychology, neuropsychiatry, neurology, neurophysiology, functional medicine, and nutrition, and uses this knowledge to develop new treatments.


Dr. Compton continues to train extensively in neurology in order to stay current with new research findings and offer his patients the most effective and individualized treatment recommendations.


Dr. Compton is an associate professor of neurology at the American Medical College of Homeopathy.


Dr. Compton is currently working to complete this master’s degree in neuroscience, and is complete training to gain a second professional degree as a Doctor of Nurse Practitioner.
